Mike Prociw, vice-president of Informatics and Diagnostic Services, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, will be leaving Quinte Health Care effective mid‐August 2010.
Prociw has decided to take a position with Cambridge Hospital in order to be closer to family.
“It is with regret that we announce this change,” said Mary Clare Egberts, President and
CEO . “During his tenure Mike has provided leadership and creativity through difficult
financial challenges in order to ensure QHC remained in a healthy financial position,
balanced with the continued delivery of quality care. He also oversaw the complete
renewal of Diagnostic Imaging at QHC and the implementation of many components of
the electronic health record.”
Mike has held the position since joining QHC in 2003.
“We wish Mike all the best in his new endeavours. He will be missed.”
Quinte Health Care will begin the search process for a new Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer this month.
