Appointments affected by the outage are now being rescheduled and the booking team is contacting patients to reschedule all diagnostic imaging appointments that were cancelled over the past two days. People impacted by a cancelled appointment, can expect to hear from the booking team shortly.
Quinte Health states just one surgery was cancelled due to the system failure, and that procedure has been rebooked.

Quinte Health reports it is experiencing a ‘Code Grey’ due to a hard drive failure, meaning its computer system is down and the hospitals have reverted to paper-based procedures.
It is anticipated the computer systems will be down until late afternoon Tuesday, July 29, or early evening.
Quinte Health is four hospitals – Belleville General, North Hastings, Trenton Memorial and Prince Edward County Memorial.
“We are cancelling some non-emergency procedures including outpatient diagnostic imaging (e.g. X-Ray, CT, MRI) and elective surgeries for the day. Our team is making every effort to contact patients impacted directly. If you don’t hear from our team, please come for your procedure as scheduled.”
The public is to expect other services, including emergency departments, to be slower than usual.
“We ask for patience and understanding as we work to get our systems back up.”
