I showed this picture to my mother as she grew up in Delhi.
My Grandfather purchased or traded another piece of land on what was then Mill St ( the laundry mat) for the Tecumseh Hotel around 1946. He owned the property until his death in 1981. he also had a blacksmith shop on the corner of mill and union where there is now a green bell box. It can be seen in the picture. What is now or where the Elks Hall is, was once the Mission Church and before and during the war it was a Soup Kitchen for men who had no Jobs. From the Photo it looks like the house on the corner of Head st and Union is still standing.
