Regent Theatre cheers its sponsors

Picton’s Regent Theatre thanks its community partners and sponsors who contribute to keeping the grand old dame of Main Street functioning.
The Regent opened its doors in 1922 with the Canadian war comedy Mademoiselle from Armentiers. In 1994, the Regent Theatre Foundation, a community-based, not-for-profit organization, bought the theatre from the Cook family. Since the board and volunteers have restored the theatre and made significant advancements including the marquee, the Austrian crystal chandeliers, air conditioning, sound, lighting and upgrading to digital cinema.
