Three Quinte Dolphin’s swim club members made their mark at an invitational competition at the Nepean Sportsplex near Ottawa last weekend.
Annika Hudgin, 10, of Bloomfield, competed against 41 girls in the 10 and under category and took home 5th, 6th and 7th place ribbons in the 50 back, 200 back, and 100 freestyle events respectively.
Kelli-Anne Maycock, 13, of Picton, was one of 27 girls competing in the 13-14 year old category. She placed 4th in the 50 backstroke and also achieved the qualifying time to swim the 200 backstroke at regionals in June.
Moriah Mossey, 11, of Athol, competed among 40 girls in the 11-12 year old category and achieved personal best times in most of her events.
Coach Jim Anfield will be returning to Ottawa with several Quinte Dolphin swimmers this weekend to compete at an invitational meet being held at the University of Ottawa.
