The public is welcome to watch a special flypast commemorating the 75th anniversary of 429 Transport Squadron at about 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7 near 8 Wing, Trenton.
The flypast will include multiple CC-177 Globemasters, a CC-130H Hercules and the historic Avro Lancaster from the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton.
The best vantage point is from Bain Park, or the 8 Wing sports fields located on the northwest corner of RCAF Road and Highway 2, in Trenton. The public is asked to refrain from parking vehicles on the shoulder of the road.
