Shuffleboard players on deck for Hospice and Hospital Foundation

Wellington on the Lake Shuffleboard Club members did much more than just enjoy the game.
Members also raised $800 to split between the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation and Hospice Prince Edward. The club raised the funds at its annual corn roast for the residents of Wellington on the Lake. Presenting the cheques to Anna Marie Ferguson, executive director of the PECMH Foundation and Nancy Parks, executive director of Hospice Prince Edward is Wilf Durham, of the Wellington on the Lake Shuffleboard Club. Ferguson and Parks thanked the residents of Wellington on the Lake for their ongoing commitment and generous support of health care initiatives in Prince Edward County. Briar Boyce photo
