Skyway Bridge construction to resume March 1

Construction on the Skyway Bridge on Highway 49 is expected to begin again March 1.
Single land traffic closures are to be expected day-to-day.
Work on the south span of the bridge is planned for 2021 with rehabilitation of the piers underneath the bridge and structural steel repairs.
Construction began in the centre of the bridge in 2019. the work is expected to be complete in 2023.
