Snow squalls continue; cold moves in

Lake effect snow and squalls continue today into Wednesday throughout the County. The squalls are expected to weaken and move offshore this afternoon but may move inland again Wednesday morning.
Snow squall warnings were issued throughout the County for another 5 to 10 cm of snow Tuesday and again, possibly, into Wednesday, especially in the southern sections.
Wind is forecast at 30 km/h gusting to 50 near noon.
The risk of snow squalls and local blowing snow continues overnight with another 10cm possible Wednesday in the southern portions of the County.
Wednesday also sees a west wind at 40 km/h gusting to 70. Expect a high of -9 but with wind chill, -26 in the morning and -16 in the afternoon.
