Snowmobile accident claims life of Picton man

A 24-year-old Picton man has died as a result from injuries from a snowmobile accident.
Constable Susanne Cox states that shortly after 9:30 p.m. Jan. 22 members of the Bancroft OPP and Hastings County Paramedics responded to a trail near Weslemkoon Lake Road, east of Silva Lake in Tudor-Cashel Township.
Jamie Ferguson, 24, was transported by ambulance to hospital and died as a result of his injuries.
Investigation into the collision is ongoing, involving officers from the Bancroft OPP, as well as an OPP Technical Collision Investigator and OPP Reconstructionist.
