Splash-down Saturday for Picton’s pad

One week to go! This photograph taken last Saturday shows the project almost complete for this Saturday’s opening at 10 a.m.
Picton’s Splash Pad will officially open Saturday beside the skatepark at the Picton Fairgrounds. The nautical themed 600-square foot pad represents more than $250,000 in community fundraising. Half was delivered in one giant splash from County businessman Michael Hymus in 2016. Since, numerous service clubs, businesses, organizations and individuals have supported and donated funds to see the project come to fruition.
Everybody welcome for the 10 a.m. official opening.
