Spot Elvis in Waupoos

Three well-known Elvis performers and up and coming Elvis Connor Russo, 11, are on stage at the Waupoos Estates Winery this weekend to the delight of fans.

The King’s finest music filled the grounds of the winery Friday to a large audience that had arrived early to take part in the annual Waupoos Fish Fry.

Elvis’ favourite foods will be served Saturday at noon and 4 p.m. Performances are at 1p.m. and 5 p.m. The show is free of charge. Performers include Brycen Katolinski and Roy Leblanc, Matt Cage and Connor Russo.

Elvis reminded Friday’s crowd to try the Elvis wine.

“I was here in Waupoos last year and I was given specific instructions to pick up four bottle of red Elvis wine,” Elvis said. “The wine is up at the store with the Elvis chocolates and they’re only available this week. Think of gifts for Elvis fans on your list.”
