Not all residents are happy about it, but County staff and the Ministry of Environment are supporting an expansion at Bay Meadows Park.
A decision to expand the trailer park, near North Beach, by 23 sites was deferred earlier to allow a report from staff. That report is expected to be before council at its meeting Tuesday.
Some residents of the park had complained the park is in rough shape and is getting worse and also noted complaints about how sewage was being handled.
County staff’s report approves the expansion to 178 serviced trailer sites. The report also notes sewage issues are overseen by the Ministry of Environment, and it has approved plans for the expansion.
Council will be asked to approve the site plan agreement with Bay Meadows and Caisse Populaire Des Voyageures Inc for development of the site plan.
