Stained glass raffle supports Community Care

Have you checked out the amazing stained glass panel on display in the front window of Community Care’s Thrift Shop?  It was carefully hand crafted by the participants of Artworks and is being raffled with proceeds to Community Care. It’s getting rave reviews by passersby. Don’t delay. Get your ticket today.

Raffle and sale

Stained glass items will be raffled and sold to support Seniors’ Month in Ontario Participants in the new program “ArtWorks: The Art of Success in the Workplace” have chosen The Prince Edward County Community Care for Seniors Association as the charity to receive the proceeds from the sale of their creations. They are creating stained glass items, and handcrafted jewellery at the Red Barns on White Chapel Road. A large stained glass panel, valued at $800.00, will be raffled during the month of June which is Seniors’ Month in Ontario. Tickets are available at Prince Edward Learning Centre (the agency sponsoring this new program), the Prince Edward Community Care office, 206 Main Street in Picton, or at Community Care’s Thrift Shop, 281 Main Street Picton, where the panel is on display. The draw will be held on Friday, July 2’nd. The jewellery and other stained glass pieces will be sold on Tuesday, June 29th and Wednesday, June 30th in front of The Armoury at 206 Main Street in Picton. ArtWorks is a new program developed by the Prince Edward Learning Centre. Participants learn the essential skills to run a successful business.
