Stars on Wellington ice include Manley, O’Brien, Michaud and Murtha-Anderson – April 7

Skating legend Elizabeth Manley, the County’s favourite Peter O’Brien and newcomer novice pairs silver medalists Trennt Michaud and Judith Murtha-Anderson will perform with members of the Prince Edward County Skating Club at next Sunday’s carnival in Wellington.
Skaters will proclaim “Love is Louder” in an anti-bullying message on ice Sunday, April 7 at 2 p.m. in the Essroc Arena. Adults $10; seniors and students $7 and children under age six, free of charge.
Special performances are scheduled for Elizabeth Manley, 1988 Olympic Silver Medalist; 2013 Senior Men’s Competitor Peter O’Brien and Trennt Michaud and Judith Murtha-Anderson, the 2013 Canadian Novice Pairs Silver Medalists.
The Prince Edward County Skating Club is a not-for-profit, volunteer run organization sanctioned by Skate Canada, operating out of the Picton Community Centre and the Wellington and District Community Centre.
The club runs throughout the summer and from September to May. with STARSkate, Pre-CanSkate, CanSkate and CompetitiveSkate programs.
