Storm blowing and drifting into County

County residents are encouraged to stay home safe and warm as the first major winter storm continues throughout eastern Ontario.
Environment Canada issued a storm watch Saturday, calling for significant blowing and drifting snow continuing over night causing dangerous road conditions.
Snowfall for the County is predicted in the 10-15cm range, but lake effect snow could increase totals overnight. Wind gusts between 40-60 km/hr can be expected. Scattered flurries are forecast for Sunday.
