Sun always shines on old-fashioned Milford Fair

The Milford Fair, re-established after the Second World War, is a real expression of ‘rural roots’, notes Charlie Vincent, a member of its board.
“There’s nothing fancy about it. We work hard at keeping it old-fashioned, while adding a few new things every year.”

The fair theme this year is a salute to the history of the fair as a foundation for its future.

babies In place of its annual Baby Show, Valencia Logan handed out medallions to five of the community’s babies – Sebastian, Isabel, Olivia, Elliott and Liam. “It follows with our theme to recognize our past volunteers and to look to the future,” said Logan.

Norton hosts Photography and Fitness outings in the County and beyond.

On Friday, Sept, 20th join in on a free-of-charge celebration of the club’s one-year anniversary of  outings. Potluck dinner, bring whatever you can for food and drink, and, as usual, bring some of your favourite photos from our outings on a USB thumb drive for a slideshow of our Year In Review.

Saturday, Sept. 28: Rock Dunder – Explor the spectacular natural area with a grand view over the Rideau River.

Sunday, Sept. 29 – The Ameliasburgh Fair and historical museum – photojournalists for a day for countylive.ca
