PEC OPP Auxiliary officers Cody Kell, Nick Cassidy and Domenic Maietta assisted customers and Storehouse Food Bank volunteer Lisa Marquardt and director Linda Downey at the Cram the Cruiser event.
Supporters of the Storehouse Food Bank in Wellington donated 126 bags of groceries and almost $100 cash to the Cram the Cruiser event in the Piersons IGA parking lot.
Food Bank director Linda Downey notes the funds will be used toward purchasing dairy products and meat, and that need for cash to purchase perishable goods is ongoing.
The Storehouse is open for donations from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and open to clients from 1- 3p.m. or by appointment.
The Storehouse Wellington and District Foodbank is located at 305 Niles St., in the Wellington Pentecostal church basement. Call 399-1450 or 399-1482
