Swing bridge at Carrying Place closed through Friday

UPDATE: Bridge expected to be closed until day’s end Friday.
The swing bridge at Carrying Place will remain closed overnight Wednesday and will remain closed until Parks Canada assesses any structural damage.
East Region OPP report a tractor and wagon jack-knifed on the bridge just aftetr noon Wednesday. Loyalist Parkway is closed from Twelve O’Clock Point Road and Shore Road (the bridge).
No injuries were reported.
