Those bright spots might be flares April 25-27

8 Wing CFB Trenton 424 (Transport and Rescue) Squadron will be conducting flare training over Lake Ontario, south of Brighton and west of Prince Edward County starting at 8:30 p.m. until midnight Tuesday, April 25 to Thursday, April 27.
In the area during this time, a CC-130H Hercules will be launching yellow-white flares from an altitude no higher than 5500 ft. above sea level.
The training is in support of nighttime SAR missions and allows 424 (T&R) Squadron to practice night flying and spotting procedures. This training is not expected to pose a disturbance to the community.
