Ontario PC party candidate Todd Smith, wife Tawnya and their two girls Payton and Reagan, welcomed party faithful to the opening Friday night of his Picton campaign office at the Sobey’s Plaza. Smith explained the party’s “change book” focus on immediate relief on home energy bills, lower tax burden for middle-class families, investing in health care and education; cleaning up waste in government. On windmills, he said the province should not dictate where wind farms may be built. “That’s a decision that has to be made at the local level. We’re going to put that decision back into the hands of the people of Prince Edward County.”
