Traffic delays on Picton Main expected until May 27

Taggart Construction’s completion of the Picton Main Street Construction project is expected to finish by May 27.
Disruption to vehicle and pedestrian traffic continues as crews complete concrete crosswalks at two locations – Main Street at Elizabeth Street, and Main Street at Ross Street.
Traffic at these two locations is reduced to one lane for the duration of construction. Temporary signals are installed to direct traffic and vehicles on adjacent side streets will be limited to turning in one direction on to Main Street.
The installation of decorative elements and replacement of poured sidewalk will also cause a disruption to pedestrian traffic and the availability of parking spots along Main Street.
Access to businesses will be maintained at all times.
