Trueman Tuck, a well-known Belleville businessman and lobbyist has registered as the fourth candidate to become the first MP for the new Bay of Quinte riding.

Running as an independent (Judeo-Christian Citizen Rights Crusader), he last ran for office in the provincial election against Todd Smith.

Trueman and his wife Yvonne have operated a number of businesses in the Bay of Quinte area including Tuck’s Discount Vitamins, Tuck’s Professional Services and Tuck’s Paralegal Services.

“I have been lobbying the PMO, cabinet, MPs, senators and federal bureaucrats to stop the federal government terrorizing its innocent citizens for over 20 years,” he said in a statement. “I have been an entrepreneur for over 42 years and as a citizen-ruler/free man-on-the-land I am fed up with the escalating tyranny, harassment, corruption, incompetence and lack of accountability of the federal government and its quasi-government corporations.

His platform contains initiatives that “would revolutionize the federal government, forcing it to be accountable daily to the citizens of this once strong, proud, free, peace-loving and debt-free nation.

“The leadership of the Liberals, NDPs and Conservatives parties and their party whips, in my opinion have deliberately conspired to expand federal government jurisdiction over thousands of local family-owned businesses affecting their trade, commerce, and local activities without lawful constitutional authority.”
