Two awards for County student at Concert of Stars

CHEERS! to Alyssa Roche, a Grade 8 student at Pinecrest Memorial Elementary School, who received two awards at the 44th Annual Quinte Rotary Music Festival Concert of Stars.
Her flute playing earned her The Walter Aselstine Memorial Trophy, given for highest marks for an individual of the woodwinds, brass and percussion, performed by a competitor who is 14 years old and younger.
The other award she shared as a choir member with the ‘Quinte Childrens Training Choir’ which received The Belleville Coral Society Award #1.
