University students contribute to rebuild of Wellington Rotary Beach entry kiosk

Following a two-year hiatus, the Wellington District Business Association partnered with the Daniels Faculty of Architecture at the University of Toronto to revamp the entry kiosk booth at the Wellington Rotary Beach. The Wellington Rotary Club was also pleased to see a new addition to the beach and pitched in $2,000 to help with the project.
Undergraduate students of the University of Toronto’s Daniels Faculty of Architecture contributed their design and construction skills to create a new entry kiosk at Wellington Rotary Beach.
The Wellington Rotary Club, Wellington Home Hardware and the Wellington District Business Association supported the build of the entry kiosk, and County staff provided the materials and supplies.
Course instructor Zachery Mollica oversaw the construction of the kiosk which was put on-site Thursday, July 28, and finishing touches were completed in advance of the Friday afternoon ribbon cutting ceremony.
