Veterans’ Day honours those who fought for peace

Rev. William Kidnew, Padre of Branch #78 Royal Canadian Legion and Sandra Latchford, Chair of Glenwood Cemetery Board, accept a $500 donation from Rick Jones, President of The Rotary Club of Picton.
Glenwood Cemetery, in partnership with Branch 78 The Royal Canadian Legion, 415 Wing Royal Canadian Air Force Association, and 851 Prince Edward Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron will host the 4th Annual Veterans’ Day Ceremony Sept. 20th at 10:45 am.
The message for the ceremony is “Honouring Those Who Fought For Peace”.
Guests are to be greeted at the front entrance by Air Cadets and directed to the assembly at the foot of Veterans’ section. The 45 minute ceremony is to include a parade, colour parties, pipe band, soloist Lorain Sine, and a senior military guest speaker from 8 Wing Trenton.
