Wanted man known to frequent Belleville to Peterborough corridor

Police ask the public to be on the lookout for a convicted murderer on a breach of parole who is known to frequent the Belleville, Kingston, Cobourg, Peterborough areas.
The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) squad is requesting public assistance in locating federal offender Lyle Ridgewell. He is described as age 60, 5’6”, 143 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair. Police suspect he may have shaved his head and beard recently.
He was convicted of second-degree murder and is on parole for life. Anyone having information is asked to contact the ROPE squad at 416-808-5900 or toll free at 1-866-870-ROPE (7673) or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
