H.P.E. has an immediate opening for a contract position for a Volunteer Integration Coordinator.
Responsibilities include conducting research for volunteer management and designing a recruitment process to expand the existing volunteer base. The coordinator will conduct a skills and experience inventory to provide an overview of strengths and identify gaps. The coordinator will be responsible for delivery of an ongoing volunteer recruitment and management system and facilitate active participation by Hospice in the development of integrated end-of-life services. Responsibilities also include facilitating fund development activities.
Qualifications should include experience and knowledge of volunteer community based organizations, programs and services. A sound knowledge of community palliative services and community partners would be recommended. Excellent organizational, computer and time management skills are essential. Experience in social media and community engagement practises would be an asset.
