Water main repairs on Picton Main Street Friday

Motorists are advised Picton Main Street may be partially or fully closed today during emergency water main repairs.
The Water and Wastewater department will be working between Ross and Bridge streets with an expected completion time of 5pm today.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible. Parking will be limited for the duration of the repairs and sidewalks may be obstructed.
The repairs are not expected to impact water quality, however residents
living in the area may experience intermittent pressure fluctuations and
coloured water.
If coloured water is experienced, customers are encouraged to flush their
water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once maintenance
is complete.
