Gas line rupture moves water shutdown work to Oct. 29

OCT. 28: A temporary water service interruption will occur on Tuesday, October 29 in the area of Argyle Crescent and Talbot Street in Picton.
The shutdown was originally scheduled for Monday, October 28 but was delayed due to a gas line rupture.
OCT 26: A temporary water service interruption is planned for Monday, Oct. 28 in the area of Argyle Crescent and Talbot Street in Picton between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm.
Customers directly affected by the water service interruption are to have received a hand-delivered notice.
Customers in the affected area are encouraged to store some potable drinking water for use during the interruption.
This planned work is not expected to impact water quality; however, residents may experience coloured water when water service is restored. Customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once work is complete and regular water service is restored.
