Water service repair on Picton Main Wednesday

The Water and Wastewater Department will be repairing water service on Picton Main between Spencer Street and Fawcett Avenue on Wed., Feb. 11.
Repairs are to begin at approximately 9 a.m., with an expected completion time of 5 p.m.
Picton Main Street may be reduced to one lane of traffic as needed. Traffic control will be in place. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
These repairs are not expected to impact water quality; however, residents in the construction area may experience pressure fluctuations and/or coloured water while construction is taking place.
If coloured water is experienced, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once work is complete.
