Watermain break on Wellington Main

The Water and Wastewater Department is doing emergency repairs as a result of a watermain break on Wellington Main Street, south of Belleville Street.
Emergency repairs began Tuesday Dec. 3 at 1:30 pm with an expected completion time of 7 p.m.
Wellington Main Street will be reduced to one lane at the Tim Hortons and MacEwen Fuel Station. Motorists are asked to avoid the construction area if possible.
These repairs are not expected to impact water quality; however, all residents and businesses south of Belleville Street may experience a partial or complete loss of pressure and/or coloured water while construction is taking place.
If coloured water is experienced, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once maintenance is complete.
