Watermain flushing and hydrant maintenance continues

The County’s summer watermain flushing and hydrant maintenance program continues this month throughout the drinking water systems.
The County notes customers in the work areas may experience intermittent pressure fluctuations and some discolouration of tap water while flushing is being completed but “This does not affect the safety or quality of the water. If coloured water has been experienced, customers should run the cold water tap closest to the water metre for a few minutes until tap water runs clear.”
