Watermain work continues in Wellington – Tuesday

JUNE 21 – Emergency watermain repairs are under way on Main Street, Wellington Friday, with an expected completion time of 5pm.
Main Street will be reduced to single lane traffic between East Street and Wharf Street for the duration of the repair. Traffic control will be in place to direct motorists through the construction zone. Motorists are asked to avoid the construction area if possible.
These repairs are not expected to impact water quality; however residents living in the immediate area may experience intermittent pressure fluctuations and coloured water.
If coloured water is experienced, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once repairs are complete.
