Wild Wednesday weather brought rain, wind, waves and waterspouts.
Tyler Frost shares this photograph of a waterspout at Wellington, spotted Wednesday. Waterspouts can form during unstable conditions when cool air moves over relatively warmer water and can be considered a weaker form of tornadoes.
Environment Canada reporting a waterspout watch in effect in some areas, notes more are expected overnight through Thursday. Mariners are urged to take necessary precautions, postpone voyages or seek safe harbour.
