Young man pulled from water is dead

UPDATE: Prince Edward County OPP have confirmed a 20-year-old man pulled from the water at West Lake last night, has died.
OPP responded with Prince Edward County Fire and Rescue and Hastings Quinte EMS to the Dunes beach at Sandbanks Provincial Park shortly after 7 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2020.
“A group of friends had been swimming and one party failed to surface,” said PEC OPP \const. Aaron Miller. “Shivam ARORA, 20, from Belleville was pronounced deceased. The Office for the Chief Coroner of Ontario is leading the investigation, with assistance from the Renfrew OPP. A post mortem examination has been scheduled. Foul play is not suspected”
His name is not being released at this time, as family members have not been notified of the incident.
