Arts Council launches new visual identity

The Prince Edward Arts Council has launched a new logo and visual identity to better represent the diversity and creativity of the arts in the County.
Following a call for entry, an independent review panel assessed the submissions and made recommendations to the PECAC board of directors.
The winning logo was submitted by local area artist Andrew Csafordi, encaustic artist,
sculptor and designer. Originally from Toronto, Csafordi came to the County three years
ago with his wife, a fiber artist and their seven-year-old daughter, a budding artist. He conducts workshops at his Bloomfield studio gallery farm.
Andrew has more than 30 years of graphic design experience and was thrilled to have his
submission selected.
“I wanted to capture strong visual elements that represent what PECAC is all about and what artists of all kinds are about. Something that artists, PECAC and the public can all connect with.”
What came out of that was a wonderful human palette of creativity, using multi colours,
multi disciplines, multi talents. Reflecting artists growing, stretching, courageous,
expressive and reaching while being playfully, creative and professional. A rising star
in the arts.”
