Blue Box collection goes weekly for the summer

Blue Box pick up becomes weekly collection for the summer months – beginning May 19. Collection days remain the same.
“We’re excited to bring weekly recycling pickup to the County,” said Rick Clow, General Manager of Quinte Waste Solutions. “Waiting two weeks to put out your recycling can seem like a long time, especially for larger households. We think residents are really going to appreciate having their blue boxes collected every week.”
In October, residents will be mailed a bi-weekly collection schedule that will reflect the change back to bi-weekly pickup in November.
Trucks begin their days at different spots on their collection route, so have your blue box to the curb by 7a.m. on collection day to avoid being missed.
