FEB. 8: The boil water advisory for all users in the Consecon/Carrying Place Drinking Water System has been lifted by the South East Health Unit (formerly known as the Hastings Prince Edward Public Health).
FEB. 6: A boil water advisory, effective immediately, Thursday, Feb. 6, has been issued for all Trenton Water Service customers, until further notice. This advisory is in response to emergency water main repair work being done by the City.
This advisory affects all Trenton Water Service customers, all Murray Ward customers, and customers in Carrying Place, Prince Edward Estates, Kingfisher Cove, and Carrying Place/Consecon Water Distribution System in Prince Edward County. Refer to the map below to see the affected areas.
Customers affected by the boil water advisory are to boil their water before consumption. All water for consumption should be brought to a rapid rolling boil and boiled for 1 minute.
Bulk water services for bulk haulers at the Trenton and Bayside bulk water stations are not available. Coin-operated water stations will be unavailable at the Trenton location. Bulk water services for haulers remain available at the Frankford/Batawa bulk water station (65 Parry Dr., Batawa, ON).
All residents in the affected areas are asked to conserve water and avoid any non-essential water use until the boil water advisory is lifted.
