Bones found at the beach were not human

UPDATE – Forensic Analysis of the bones located has determined that the bones are not human in origin. This concludes the OPP investigation into this matter.
The Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was contacted to assist Sandbanks Provincial Park wardens with a discovery of small bones.
Wardens advised that three small bones attached together were found by a camper while walking on the beach.
The bones appeared to be that of a small hand or paw and are not believed to be human – at this time. Officers have sent the bones to a Forensic Anthropologist for further analysis.
