Celebrate spring viewing two private County waterfalls this weekend

Following a COVID-19 pandemic hiatus, the Picton Rotary Club invites the public to enjoy an Easter weekend walk at two spectacular Prince Edward County waterfalls locations.
The falls are located on private properties – one at Cape Vessey and the other at Jackson Falls – but are open to the public to view through an arrangement with the property owners. This year, Rotarians are accepting donations to be used toward Picton’s Ukraine Support and the Back the Build for the County’s new hospital.
Site one is Cape Vesey at 3718 County Road 8 (east of Waupoos). Site two is Jackson Falls, 1749 County Road 17 (east of Milford). To view the falls, check in with the on-site Rotarians upon arrival. Bring your camera. Hiking attire and waterproof footwear are recommended.
For more information, call 613-813-1658, or 613-476-1309, or click here to visit the Rotary Club website.
