Community carol service rings in support for new hospital

The Community Carol Service piped in the holiday season making a donation to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation Monday.

The group, organized by Pat Bentley and Rosemary Moore, invited guest organist Murray Baer and local church choirs to perform at this year’s Christmas Carol Service at Picton United Church.

The sweet melodic sounds of the holiday carols inspired more than 400 attendees to raise $1,614 that will go toward the Back the Build campaign for Prince Edward County’s new hospital.

On behalf of the hospital foundation, executive director Shannon Coull wished attendees peace, joy, hope, and love this holiday season.
