Construction on Johnson St., Picton Friday

The Water and Wastewater Department will be working to repair a service leak at the intersection of Johnson and Queen streets in Picton.
Repairs are to begin on Friday, Aug. 2 at 7 am, with an expected completion time of 4 pm the same day.
Johnson Street will be reduced to single lane traffic between Queen Street and Jane Street for the duration of the repair. Traffic control will be in place to direct motorists through the construction zone. Motorists are asked to avoid the construction area if possible.
If coloured water is experienced, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once repairs are complete.
