Prince Edward County OPP officers are on alert for a County teenager reported missing.
Austin Smith, 15, was last seen Wednesday morning around 7:45 a.m. waiting for the school bus. He did not arrive at school and did not return home.
Austin is between 5’5” and 5’8” with brown hair, blue-green eyes, has a fair complexion with acne-prone skin. He has a large scar on his left arm from above the elbow to mid-forearm.
He was wearing a brown Columbia jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans with a rip in the knee. He was wearing blue Shaq sneakers and a silver Bulova watch.
The teen has some undiagnosed mental health issues and although he is 15, he functions at the level of a 10-year-old.

Was there any other children at the bus stop with Austin? If so did they see him go in another direction? Just thought this would help in the search…I think everyone in the surrounding area, Glenwood included, should check their outbuildings in case he became disoriented, and looked for a place to get out of the rain…This is so disturbing..
