Track conditions might be different and the competition could be stronger, but any time a racer visits as a big event’s defending champion, they’re only thinking about one thing: doing it again.

Last year Adam Turner celebrated wins in the Street Stock and Vintage Modified feature races at the King Edward Auto Parts – Carquest/Dirt Outlaw Apparel Northeast Fall Nationals at Brockville Speedway.

Even though the 2021 edition of the season-ending spectacular is still a few weeks away, the second-generation Prince Edward County racer is getting ready for the chance to do it again.

“I’d be lying if I said the thought hadn’t crossed my mind. Anyone who knows me is familiar with my willingness to drive just about anything. I’ve always had some strong runs in marquee events, so I’m anxious to get back out there and have some fun.”

He got some additional experience hopping from car-to-car during the Applefest Shootout Weekend. Friday, Sept. 24th he was fifth in the Vintage Modified and sixth in the Thunder Stock. The next night, he finished a strong fourth in the Late Model and added a win in the Thunder Stock feature.

The 38-year-old father of three thanks his sponsors, family and friends for everything they do to support his racing ventures.

To comply with provincially required COVID-19 contact tracing, advance tickets for the Oct. 15-16 event can be ordered using the link on the schedule page of the Brockville Speedway website. As an outdoor attraction, vaccination passport regulations do not apply, but face masks are required. More information is also available on the track’s website and Facebook, Twitter and Instagram social media platforms.
