Missing man safe in Toronto

Prince Edward OPP report a Consecon man they have been searching for since Sept. 29 has made contact with his family.
” On the 11th of October Wyton made contact with his family advising them he was in Toronto and assured them he was fine,” said PEC OPP constable Kim Guthrie. Several confirmed sightings were called in by the public in the days following the start of the investigation.
Guthris said police are no longer searching for Wyton and are grateful for the public’s help in this matter.
The Prince Edward detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police launched an investigation into the disappearance of Wyton, 53, on Sept. 29.  Wyton, from the Consecon area, had been described as a white, male, approximately 5’6″, 145 lbs, with long graying brown hair in a pony tail and a long moustache.

Missing man spotted in Brighton

OCT. 4 – Prince Edward Detachment OPP have confirmed a sighting of Darryll Wyton, 53, whose disappearance from his Prince Edward County home has been under investigation since Sept. 29.
He was reported missing by a family member and was last seen Tuesday, Sept. 27 at approximately 12 p.m., when he walked away from a family residence in Consecon.
Police report Wyton was observed by a citizen on Thursday, Sept. 29 at about 5 p.m. walking westbound on old Hwy 2 in the village of Brighton.  He was carrying a bag over his shoulder and was holding a long (approximately 6’) walking stick.

Wyton is described as a white male, approximately 5’6″, 145 lbs, with long graying brown hair in a pony tail and a long moustache. He was last seen wearing a blue “Tough Duck” hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and running shoes and a blue baseball cap.

Police would like to make contact with Wyton to ensure his safety.  Anyone with information about Wyton is asked to call Prince Edward OPP at 613-476-2151, or Crimestoppers at 1-888-310-1122.

Darryll Wyton reported missing

SEPT: 30 – Prince Edward detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police launched an investigation Thursday into the disappearance of Darryll WYTON, 53. He was reported missing by a family member.
Wyton was last seen on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at approximately 12:00pm, when he walked away from a family residence in Consecon, Prince Edward County.
Wyton is a white male, approximately 5’6″ tall, weighing 145 pounds. He has long, greying brown hair in a ponytail and a long moustache. He is believed to be wearing a blue “Tough Duck” hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and running shoes and a blue baseball cap.
Anyone with information about Darryll Wyton is asked to call Prince Edward OPP at 613-476-2151, 1-888-310-1122 or Crimestoppers.
