OCT 10: Thursday night’s spectacular northern lights show featured many dazzling streaks across the sky – sometimes visible with your eyes (but still better with a camera).
BELOW PIXS FROM OCT. 8 Strong geomagnetic storm conditions late Monday evening meant dazzling northern lights shows were visible across most of Southern Ontario, and much of Canada.
No dancing swirls were seen, but some ribbons of aurora lights were captured in these photographs taken in Bloomfield. To the naked eye, the sky appeared slightly brighter than usual in spots. – Sue Capon photos
