Donation to help keep food bank shelves stocked

CHEERS! from the Picton United Church Food Bank, to Mark Heating and Cooling Ltd. which presented $2,500 to Seona Halsey, on behalf of the food bank, in thanks to their customers for their support this year.

“With the cost of groceries increasing, the need has almost doubled since last year,” according to Halsey, “The Food Bank welcomes and appreciates all donations.”

The Food Bank is located downstairs in the Picton United Church on Chapel St., Picton, and is open Fridays from 9a.m. until 11:30a.m. Also, a reminder, delivery is also available if needed. Call 613-476-8516.
