Elvis was not only spotted in Waupoos over the weekend, hundreds of fans enjoyed the King’s music and food during three performances at the Waupoos Estates Winery by the 2010 Elvis Collingwood Festival Grand Champion Tim E Hendry and the Casino Brothers Band.
Tim ‘E’ was runner-up at the 2011 King of the World Elvis Tribute Artists World Championships in Memphis, Tennessee and is now ranked second in the World by the Elvis Entertainers Network.
The audience also enjoyed performances from James Gibb, of Harrow, re-creating the magic of Elvis in the early years. He has won numerous awards since 2007 the most recent being first place Early Years Division at the Saginaw King Fest 2012 as well as being named overall “King of Saginaw”. James is also proud of his 2011 Pro Early Years Grand Champion title at the Collingwood Elvis Festival.
Waupoos Winery’s branded Elvis Baco Noir and Gamay were declared delicious as was the Elvis pizza (chocolate banana and peanut butter); the freshly roasted peanuts and the mouth watering fish fry.
