Pitch, Hit and Run Tuesday

Pitch Hit and Run rescheduled, due to weather, to Tuesday, May 11 4:30 – 6 p.m. at the Wellington ball diamonds. County Baseball has converted the old “Wellington A” Diamond into a little league baseball diamond with a grass infield, clay baselines and a raised pitcher’s mound. No more sliding into road gravel! County Baseball is also in the process of building batting cages at the baseball complex as well as practice facilities for pitchers and catchers. Girls and boys ages 7-14 are invited to test their baseball skills at the 5th annual Pitch, Hit & Run competition Saturday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wellington ball diamonds. For details on the competition, call Jen Ronan at 476 8550 or Tracey Kelly at 476 1312. Phil Norton photo. See more of his work at www.philnorton.com
